About Picardy
Old French heirloom tomato dating back to the 1890s. First offered in the Seed Savers 1999 Yearbook by Cynthia C. Jeffries of Westminster, South Carolina, who bought the seeds from Heirloom Seeds. Indeterminate, compact, regular leaf plant produces good yields of 6-10 oz., medium-sized, round, oblate, red fruits with 5-7 seed locules. Loaded with juice and blemish-free. Excellent old-fashioned rich, complex tomato flavors.
