About Phil‘s Two
‘Phil’s Two’ is a very unusual-looking tomato – green when ripe sister line of yellow fruited ‘Phil’s One’. It was developed by Philippe Rommens from an accidental cross of famous ‘Reisentomate (Voyage)’. Irregular, small to medium-sized fruits (4oz./100 g) are very deeply ribbed, have meaty flesh, and sweet flavor with a nice acidic aftertaste. Single seed locules are often completely separated and each fruit looks like it is made with few fruits combined together. Green flesh and yellow skin. Compact plants grow up to about 1.3 meters tall. Average yield. Midseason, about 78 days to maturity.
