About Petrillo
The USDA says they acquired this tomato in the 1950s from Puerto Rico. However, it is rumored to originally come from Italy. No matter where it is from, this Costoluto Genovese type tomato is deeply ruffled and tasty! Productive, disease and crack resistant. Excellent slicer. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 10-14 oz., red, deeply fluted beefsteak tomatoes with rich complex flavors. Seeds available at http://sustainableseedco.com
