A 1941 introduction from the Pennsylvania Agricultural Experiment Station, State College, Pennsylvania. Stabilized Oxheart X Penn State Earliana cross. Midseason, vigorous, determinate, regular leaf plant produces 3-6 oz., bright-red, round and blunt-shaped heart fruit. Excellent balanced tomato flavor. First few fruits can be almost seedless.
