About Pearls of Wisdom
This is a stabilized selection of one of the segregation lines from a cross (Kozula 130) that was made by Anna Kozula, a well-known tomato breeder in Poland. Seeds of unstable Kozula 130 cross (F3) were shared with other North American gardeners in spring 2011. Selected and stabilized by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2012-2013. In Tatiana’s garden, the seeds produced a variety of different shapes and colors, most were round oblate, with and without striping. One plant produced striped dark plums with a pointed tip which were very cute and had very good sweet flavor. Selection continued in 2012-2014, and this variant is now stable in its F6 generation. However, it is still possible that it may throw an off type fruit. Released by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2014. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with wispy looking foliage produce 3-7 oz., beautiful dark purple/black with silver/gray/green stripes, oval-shaped, with a nipple at the blossom end. Delicious sweet flavor.
