An early producer of large, very pretty orange, and great tasting Roma tomatoes.

I like to make different colored tomato sauce for a variety of culinary dishes. The elegant, deep-orange color Orange Roma heirloom tomato holds is a delightful addition to all foods, including salsa and seafood.
What is the best way to grow Orange Roma tomatoes?
I like to prepare the soil weeks before planting with compost and the addition of minerals. To each hole for planting I add worm castings, kelp, broken egg shells and our own cured, organic compost. Planting in an open garden space or in large containers permits an abundant harvest.

If I plant Orange Roma tomatoes in a row of several plants I generally plant 18″ apart to encourage. If I am planting only one plant adjacent to other varieties I allow 6′ between plants. This variety is a shorter indeterminate plant that produces well until season’s end.
