About Orange King

‘Orange King’ is a very beautiful, orange heirloom tomato developed in the late ’50th at the University of New Hampshire. It was bred for northern areas, but it also performs very well in hot, southern regions. Medium to large (7-11oz./ 200-300g), oblate slicers with smooth shoulders, and juicy, firm flesh. Excellent, rich, and bold tomato taste. Semi-determinate, regular leaf plants grow up to about 1.7 meters tall. Good yield. Midseason, about 78 days to maturity.
