Heirloom variety has been in the Giltner family of VA for 50+ years. First offered in the 1992 Seed Savers Yearbook by Robert Rogers of Indiana who received the seed directly from the Giltner family. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces large, 10-16 oz., red, beefsteak tomatoes with meaty flesh and delicious, sweet flavors with a well-balanced acidity. A good tomato for salads or canning.
