About Old Ivory Egg
Old Ivory Egg AKA Australian Yellow Plum. An heirloom well named as it’s fruit is the size (1 x 2″), shape and approximate color of a chicken’s egg. Offered in the 1986 SSE Yearbook by Thane Earle of Whitewater, Wisconsin who noted that the seeds were from Australia. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 2-3 oz., pale, ivory, tomatoes that eventually turn creamy-yellow and has a mild sweet flavor.
