About Lemon Drop

‘Lemon Drop’ is a most flavorful, yellow currant tomato. Very nice sweet/tart complement in a bright yellow 3/8″ diameter fruit. Selected best yellow for great flavor and yield. This wild tomato from South America is actually Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium. Tall and indeterminate plants. Introduced commercially by Irish Eyes Garden Seeds. They got seeds from Tim Peters of Peters Seed Research of Oregon. About 80-84 days to maturity.
* There is another variety with the same name, which is a sport of ‘White Cherry’ tomato.
