About Nina (Нина)
‘Nina’ is a new, very beautiful release from a Russian tomato breeder, V.I.Blokin-Mechtalin. It was first presented in 2017 and in 2019 ‘Nina’ was included in the ‘Russian State Register’. Introduced commercially by the agro firm ‘Partner’.
Big, strongly ribbed, deep red colored fruits with very meaty, dense flesh, that is very intense, almost crimson-red colored. Juicy, sweet but not too sweet, with nice, acidic tones. Early to midseason, about 65-70 days to maturity. Determinate, regular leaf plants have good disease resistance (TMV, Alternaria).
