About Nikola
From Altai, Siberia, Russia. Released in 1993. Introduced to North American gardeners by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus in 2006-2007 via seed exchanges with Tomatoville and Garden Web members.
Early, determinate, compact plant with regular foliage produces high yield of 2-4 oz., small, red tomatoes, growing in clusters of 5-6. Fruits are meaty, with a nice full flavor. Very well suited for container growing. Some concentric cracking may occur in very wet weather.
