About Nicoviotis Orange
‘Nicoviotis Orange’ is a beautiful, round, orange tomato variety that originated from Corsica Island, France. This variety was first offered in the Seed Savers 2002 Yearbook by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois, who had acquired the seeds from a famous Belgian collector named Luc Fichot in 2001.
A late-season (85-90 days), indeterminate tomato plant with regular leaves bears a high yield of medium to large (6-11oz./180-300g), meaty, orange-fleshed fruits with exceptional flavor. Perfect slices make it a superb sandwich topper.
