Heirloom from Chile. Seeds sent to Gary Ibsen from Alejandro Bustamante, Chile. “The seeds have been in the family for more than 50 years and haven’t been exposed to other tomato breeds.” The seeds were taken from a tomato produced in the Nahuelbuta Mountains in Chile (IX Region). Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 12-16 oz., 3-5″, pink, oblate tomatoes with intense tomatoey flavors, well balanced between sweet and acid. A wonderful tomato for slicing into a sandwich or salad. Does well in high altitude and cooler climates.
