About Myona

Reportedly the name came from an Italian vegetable stand proprietor, when asked what kind of tomato it was, he replied, “It’s a my owna,” Hence the name Myona. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce an abundant amount of medium sized, red with pointy end plum tomatoes that are meaty and flavorful. Great for sauce and canning due to its rich, slightly acidic flavor.
