The first in the Mountain series, with large fruits that are crack resistant, jointed and green shouldered. Randy Gardner, Ph.D., developed a family of exceptional fresh market varieties particularly well-adapted to the Southwest. While bred especially for mountain regions and higher elevations, nationwide trails have suggested that the series is well adapted everywhere. Determinate, regular leaf plant produces large-sized, firm, red, fruits. Ideal for the home garden or fresh market. (VFFASt) About 70-77 days to maturity.
