About Moses
‘Moses’ is an indeterminate, potato leaf tomato plant, that produces an abundant crop of very large, pink, oblate tomatoes with huge, robust flavors.
Introduced commercially by Gary Ibsen through his ‘TomatoFest’ seed store. Gary received seeds for this heirloom variety from Jim Wyant in 2018. Jim got his seeds from Paul Douglas of Williamsburg, Kentucky, USA, who got them from one of his previous Algebra teachers. The teacher called the tomato ‘Moses’ because they came from Dr. Moses of Williamsburg, Kentucky who grew this tomato for at least 60 years. Late season, about 90 days from transplant.
