About Moruno de Madrid

‘Moruno de Madrid’ is an old Spanish heirloom from Madrid. Indeterminate but compact plant with regular leaf foliage. Very beautiful, dark fruit, chocolate-colored (yellow epidermis) with meaty and dense dark flesh. Very good tomato taste, rich, sweet with good acidic touch and some smoky notes. Perfect for fresh, or for dark juices or sauces. Very good production. Midseason, about 75 days to maturity.
