About Mortgage Lifter, Yellow
Old heirloom from the 1940s. A West Virginia heirloom sent to Southern Exposure Seed Exchange founder, Jeff McCormack, who introduced it commercially in 1984. An impressive cousin of Mortgage Lifter, Radiator Charlie’s. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant that produces heavy yields of 1 lb., 4″, slightly flattened, yellow beefsteak tomatoes with red/pink streaks in center. Wonderful, mild, fruity flavors.
