About Monkey Ass
‘Monkey Ass’ is a very old family heirloom from Wagner’s family that the first mention of which dates back to 1912. It originated in Ricardo, Province of Caserta, Italy.
Indeterminate, robust, and regular leaf plants produce medium to large (7-9oz./200-250g), pink, heart, and blunt heart-shaped fruits. Firm and juicy flesh with very few seeds and very good, old-fashioned tomato flavor. A perfect slicer, great for salads but also good for cooking and canning. Midseason, about 78 days to maturity.
