About Midnight Tiger

‘Midnight Tiger’ tomato was created by J&L Gardens, USA. It is an indeterminate, regular leaf plant that produces small (5-7oz./150-200g), round, and very unusual colored – striped, and spotted tomatoes with strong anthocyanin splash on the sun-exposed part of the fruit. This is how the breeder described this variety: ‘I don’t think I have ever seen colors this intense on a tomato. It is striped with iridescent green and copper on a deep mahogany background and draped in black from the stem end. The plant is a strong and healthy 5-foot indeterminate which sets a huge flush of these fruits. The interior is multicolored red and green’.
Very good, sweet taste and strong tomato aroma. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
