About Medovyy Spas (Медовый Спас, Medovyi Spas)
‘Medovyy Spas’ is a Russian commercial variety, developed by Dederko Vladimir Nikolaevich and Postnikova Olga Valentinovna. It was included in the Russian State Register in 2006.
Regular leaf, indeterminate, but compact plants, grows up to about 60″ tall. Very good yield of beautiful, medium to large, orange blunt hearts, that weighs about 8-16 oz. Very good, sweet flavor, meaty, dense flesh with small seed cavities. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
