About Matt’s Wild Cherry
Teresa Arellanos de Mena brought seed to Maine from her family in Hidalgo, Mexico. Tall, vigorous, rangy, indeterminate, regular-leaf tomato plant with thousands of 1/2 -inch red cherry tomatoes, borne in clusters. Fruits have a very sweet, delicious taste. Like snacking on candy. This tomato variety that should do well in cooler growing regions as it appears to have some frost resistance. Great for sprinkling these “jewels” into a salad.
