About Marmande de Montpellier

‘Marmande De Montpellier’ is a very tasty and beautiful variety developed from a cross made between ‘Marmande Garnier’ and ‘Feuerwerk’ by Eric Pedebas of Maurin Lattes, Hérault, France in 2010. Glossy, red, and yellow striped and spotted outside, heart to oblate-shaped fruits are medium to large (5-9oz./150-250g) and have firm, juicy flesh. The excellent, well-balanced flavors bring to mind the taste of the old-fashioned tomatoes. Mid- to late season, about 80-87 days to maturity. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants.
