A selected strain of the old-time favorite ‘Marglobe’ originally released in 1925 which was from a cross between ‘Marvel’ and ‘Globe’. This strain has been improved for enhanced disease resistance. Semi-determinate, regular leaf, stocky, vigorous plants produce abundant crops of medium-sized, 5-9 oz., red tomatoes with very good, rich, complex flavors. Proven resistance to: alternaria stem canker, verticillium wilt, race 1 of fusarium wilt, cladosporium leaf mold, and stemphylium rot. Very good canning tomato, salad tomato and sauce tomato.
