About Mamont
Russian variety, bred by Siberian Agricultural Research Breeding Institute. First introduced in Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Nancy Kirch, NY, who received the seed from Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus. Introduced commercially in North America by Double Helix Farms in 2013. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 8-16 oz., very large, pink, beefsteak tomatoes with very good sweet flavor.
