‘Lvinoe Serdtse’ is a Russian commercial variety, created by Kudryavtseva Elizaveta Romanovna. It was created in 2001 and included in the Russian State Register in 2006. The name translates to ‘Lion’s Heart’ in Russian.
First offered in the Seed Savers 2006 Yearbook by Luc Fichot, Belgium. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 5-12oz./150-350g., red, round to blunt heart-shaped tomatoes. An excellent slicer, but also great for canning.
