About Longhorn

‘Longhorn’ is an elegantly shaped purple tomato that was bred by J&L Gardens Of Bentonville, Arkansas, USA.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce heavy yields of purple, strongly elongated hearts weighing 5-9oz./150-250g. The fruit has delightful, rich flavors that contain more sweet notes than acidity and burst with a strong tomato aroma. Smooth, meaty flesh is almost seedless, which makes this variety an excellent choice for cooking, juicing, and preserves. Midseason, 70-75 days to maturity.
