About Liz Birt
‘Liz Birt’ is a variety bred by Keith Mueller of Kansas City, Missouri, USA, from a cross between ‘Brandywine’ and ‘Cherokee Purple’ tomato and introduced commercially by ‘Sand Hill Preservation Center’ in 2008. A variety named by Keith Mueller in honor of the autism advocate, the efforts of which drew the attention of the US Congress to the manipulation of autism research by pharmaceutical companies and the CDC.
Indeterminate, potato leaf plants with an average yield of pink, large (about 7-12 oz.), beefsteak-type fruit. Very meaty yet juicy flesh, with a firm texture. Small seed cavities, Midseason, first ripe fruit can be harvest about 75 days after transplant.

Keith! Awesome, I need to grow this. BTW my 21 y/o granddaughter is a shinning star with Autistic & Downs kids!. Tiffiny is a Jr studying Psychologist for Special needs kids!
