About Lazurnyy Gigant F1 Hybrid (Лазурный Гигант F1, Azure Giant)
‘Lazurnyy Gigant F1’ hybrid is a Russian commercial variety, introduced by ‘Russkiy Ogorod’ seed company in 2014. Determinate, regular leaf plants produce large (7-25oz./200-700g) beefsteaks, flattened, irregular in shape, and wavy on the shoulders. Purplish-red when fully ripe fruits with a strong anthocyanin expression on the sun-exposed part. Sweet tomato taste with a tangy aftertaste. Mid- to late season, about 80-85 days to maturity.
