‘Lady Madonna’ is a stunning dwarf tomato plant bred by breeder and Rock music enthusiast Blane Horton of Jackson, Mississippi, USA, from a cross between ‘Cherokee Tiger’ and ‘Kosovo’*. Inspired and named by the song from the English rock band, the Beatles, this plant adds a musical touch to your garden: “Lady Madonna, baby at your breast, wonders how you manage to feed the rest.”

Regular leaf plants can grow up to about 35in./90 cm tall and boast a bountiful yield of small (3-4oz./80-100g), elongated, striped fruits that are orange and red outside with pink, juicy flesh. Exceptionally rich and bold tomato flavors. Perfect for eating fresh or in salads. Midseason, about 78 days to maturity.

*There are also a few other siblings developed from this cross: ‘Balkan Tiger’, ‘Striped Balkan Tiger’, ‘Desperado’, and ‘Long Tall Sally’.
