About Lady Madonna
‘Lady Madonna’ is a very beautiful dwarf tomato plant bred by Blane Horton of Jackson, Mississippi, USA, from a cross made between ‘Cherokee Tiger’ x ‘Kosovo’*.
Regular leaf plants can grow up to about 90 cm tall and produce small (3-4oz./80-100g), elongated, striped fruits – yellow and red outside with pink, juicy flesh. Exceptionally rich and bold tomato flavors. Perfect for eating fresh or in salads. Midseason, about 78 days to maturity.
*There are also a few other siblings developed from this cross: ‘Balkan Tiger’, ‘Striped Balkan Tiger’, ‘Desperado’, and ‘Long Tall Sally’.
