About La Destrousse

‘La Destrousse’ is a very rare and beautiful heirloom tomato from La Destrousse*, France. Medium to large (7-11oz./200-300g), red, elongated hearts with dense, meaty flesh and very few seeds. Sweet tomato tastes, good, old-fashioned tomato aroma. Vigorous, indeterminate, and regular leaf plants produce a good yield from the middle of the season, about 70-80 days after transplant.

* La Destrousse is a commune in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southern France.
