About Kryptonite
‘Kryptonite’ is a very beautiful new creation from Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms, Napa Valley, USA, that was introduced commercially in 2019. Very beautifully colored outside, round, antho over green when ripe, striped fruits. This is what Wild Boar Farms writes about this variety: “Kryptonite is a truly exotic-looking tomato that blends the deep blue of anthocyanin with green and yellow flecks and striping. As its appearance may imply it is appropriately tangy in taste. As with other varieties with anthocyanin the fruit is extra durable and has an extended shelf life and average 2-4oz./50-100g. Kryptonite is quite productive, and the plants are indeterminate. They have a semi-late maturation cycle and grow on the shorter side; averaging about 3-5 feet in height. It is also not uncommon for the leaves to be somewhat curly.”
