About Korney’s Jelly Bean (Perry’s Cherry)

‘Korney’s Jelly Bean’ is a cherry type variety selected from the ‘Spoon’ red currant type tomato by Mark Korney, a plant breeder and Co-Founder of Buffalo-Niagara Tomato TasteFest in the USA.
A high-yielding indeterminate tomato plant with regular leafed vines loaded with long clusters (15-30 fruits each) of grape-sized (0.7oz./20g), red, elongated, crack-free cherries with exceptional flavor and sugary sweetness. This tomato candy is a fantastic, kid-favorite fresh snack, even for those who do not typically enjoy tomatoes. A great addition to summertime salads and omelets or preserved as sweet tomato jam. Mid-season, about 66 days to maturity. Plants produce continuously throughout the season until the first frosts and have good disease resistance.
