About Königin der Nacht (Queen of the Night)

‘Königin der Nacht’ tomato is said to be originated in Germany, the Rhine area. Very pretty colored, red and yellow striped fruits with dark, anthocyanin shoulders. Small to medium-sized (3-5oz./ 80 to 150g), round and oblate tomatoes grow in clusters, 5-8 fruits each. Good, well-balanced tomato taste, with some spicy notes. Indeterminate but compact, regular leaf plants grow up to about 1.6 meters tall. Mid-season, about 75-80 days to maturity.
