About Kobzar
Old Russian heirloom variety that was grown for over 20 years by M.I. Kudenkov, who worked at Russian ‘Russian State Register’. Origin is not known. Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2015. Indeterminate, regular leaf, the compact plant produces 1-3 oz., red plum-shaped fruits that are juicy and have a little tip on the blossom end. Excellent sweet flavor. Perfect canner. Delicious when pickled.
