About Klusha (Клуша)
Russian commercial variety, created by Postnikova Tatyana Nikolayevna, Dederko Vladimir Nikolayevich. It was included in the Russian State Register in 2009. Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2015. The name means ‘broody hen’ in Russian.
Compact determinate, dwarf plants with regular leaf foliage are very pretty and set fruit early in the season. Fruits are round, red, 2-5 oz., with firm (not runny or mushy) flesh, which makes that perfect for canning or for farmers market. Very good balanced flavor. This variety do not benefit from pruning and will produce more fruits if not pruned. Early maturity.
