About Kennington’s Big Red
A great tasting heirloom variety. Seeds were sent to Gary Ibsen by Hugh Kennington of Oregon whose family has saved seeds for this variety for two generations as their favorite tomato. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 12-16 oz., round to oblate, brilliant red tomatoes with bold, delicious flavors. A good market tomato. Great choice for slicing into sandwiches or salads.
