About Justyna

Tatiana’s TOMATObase selection from Tom Wagner’s hybrid Mountain Roma X F2 Sun Sugar, developed and stabilized by Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in 2008-2013, selected for earliness, fruit color and flavor. Named by Tatiana after Justyna Kowalczyk, a famous Polish cross country skier, who has been competing and winning various prestigious ski competitions, including the Olympic Games, since 2000. First introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2014. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant, (which has a ‘funny’ smell of SunGold foliage, and wispy, droopy vines) produces 0.5-1 oz., small, elongated, orange, plum-shaped fruits with a very cute pointed tip at the blossom end. Delicious sweet taste with some acidic undertones.
