About Jolie Coeur (H34 Rot, Red Sweet Heart)

‘Jolie Coeur’ is a very nice-looking tomato bred by Keith Mueller of Kansas City, Montana, USA, in 2000. It is a sibling line to ‘Belle Coeur’ (H 34 Gelb). Small (3oz./80-100g) fruits are round, dark pink colored, have pointy ends, and dark anthocyanin splash on the sun-exposed part. In very sunny summers whole fruits can turn almost black. The juicy flesh is very tasty, sweet, with a fruity aftertaste. Semi-determinate, potato leaf plants are very prolific. Mid to late season, about 82-95 days from transplant.
