About Joie De La Table
Old Italian heirloom that was also popular in France. French name means ‘Joy of the Table’. The original Italian name is Gioia della Mensa.
First offered in the Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by John Wyncoll, Bolton, England, who bought seeds from a commercial vendor. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 4-8 oz., medium-sized, red, round and oblate, beefsteak fruits. Very good full, rich, well-balanced tomato flavors.
