About Joe’s Pink Oxheart
‘Joe’s Pink Oxheart’ is an old tomato variety, that was grown for many years in the area of the Ozarks by a farmer named ‘Joe’. Margie of ‘Lazy Ox Farm’ received seeds of this tomato from her mail-man, Mark Barton, who get them from Joe. The original name of this variety was unknown, so they named the tomato ‘Joe’s Pink Oxheart’.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants, that produce a good yield of beautiful, large, pink heart-shaped tomatoes. Very meaty, and juicy flesh with a delicious, sweet, but not too sweet taste, full tomato aroma. Midseason, about 80 days from transplant.
