About Jocotillo
An heirloom tomato from Guatemala that dates back to the 1960s, or earlier. Collected in 1966 from an Indian market in Antigua, Guatemala.
First offered in the Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Norbert R. Pikovsky, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who got the seed from USDA. Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2016. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 1-2 oz., small, pink, oval fruits. Quite juicy. Mild sweet flavors.
