About Jersey Devil
This American heirloom variety was made popular many years ago by Tomato Seed Co of Metuchen, NJ. that is no longer in business. Abundant crops of 5-6″ long, tapered, bright red, paste tomatoes with pointed end, (looks like a pepper) few seeds and very good taste. Takes a long time to set fruit but it’s worth the wait. This variety is well respected as a meaty sauce tomato that is a good choice for making salsa.
