About Jazz
‘Jazz’ tomato is a beautiful sister line to ‘Orange Jazz’ created by Fred Hempel of ‘Artisan Seeds’. It’s hard to miss these brightly colored beefsteaks, which are a striking shade of pink with contrasting yellow stripes.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce an outstanding yield of large (18oz./500g or more), fruit varying greatly in shape, with some looking like oblongs and others more like blunt hearts. The tomatoes have pink, meaty flesh, that is sweet and juicy, and has some fruity aftertaste. Crack-free. Midseason, about 75 days after transplant.
