About Jackie
‘Jackie’ is a very rare creation from Steve Whiteaker of Double Hélix Farms. Steve named this tomato after his mom, Jackie. It was his beautiful gift for her for Mother’s Day. Round and sometimes slightly elongated fruits with pointy ends are deep pink when fully ripe and have a nice antho splash on the sun-exposed part. About 0.7oz. (18g), juicy cherry tomatoes with thin skin and very good, sweet tomato flavor with a nice, tart aftertaste. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with good yield from the middle of the season (about 70 days after transplant) until frost. Fully ripe fruits fall off easily from the plant. Great as a snack or for a colorful summer salad.
