About Irma (Ірма)
‘Irma’ is a commercial variety of Belorus origin, introduced by the ‘Minsk Sort Sem Ovosch’ seed company*.
Determinate, regular leaf bushy plants produce a high yield of small (1oz./35g), red, plum-shaped fruit. Very nice, rich, acidic flavor. Excellent for canning. Midseason.
*There is also a Russian tomato variety under the same name, introduced by ‘Aelita’ seed company. It produces large, red, oblate fruits.
