About Irlandskiy Likor (Irish Liqueur, Ирландский ликёр)
‘Irlandskiy Likor’ is an intriguing Russian commercial variety developed by Steinert T. V., Aliluev A. V., Teplovoy N. S., Avdeenko L. M., and Volkovoy V. Yu. It was first included in the Russian State Register in 2021. Commercially introduced by Geterosisnaya Selection company, Miass, Russia.
Indeterminate, regular-leaf tomato plants are loaded with an excellent yield of emerald green, oblate, and slightly ribbed on shoulders tomatoes. Large to extra large (11-21oz./300-600g) fruits have honey-green, juicy, sugary flesh and are almost seedless with excellent flavor and a fruity fragrance. This tomato is a stunning contrast to red and purple varieties on a summertime platter and has a great selection for fresh green salsas. Expect excellent yields even in cooler summers. Late, about 85-90 days after transplant.
