About Indian River
Seeds released in 1958 by the Florida Agricultural Experimental Station as a selection from a natural cross between Manalucie and Manalee. A medium-sized, early-setting, disease-resistant, indeterminate that produces large amounts of medium-sized, 2-3 inch, good tasting, red globes. Produces well in hot or cooler weather. A great canning tomato. A good ground tomato or staked tomato.
