About Indian Reservation
‘Indian Reservation’ is a very rare, old heirloom tomato, that seeds were sent by an elderly collector of tomatoes – George Pesta – to another tomato collector who sent them to Craig LeHoullier of Raleigh, North Carolina in the early 1990s. It is not known where George Pesta got the seeds from. This variety was listed by Craig in the SSE yearbook.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce a huge yield of large (7-12oz./200-350g), yellow and red striped bi-colored, slightly flattened beefsteaks. Very good, sweet, and fruity tomato taste and good aroma. Late, about 85 days to maturity.
